This was notoriously the slowest post office in the metro Milwaukee area. Employing the oldest, crankiest workers they could possibly find, it was lucky if you ever got your mail on time. Special requests? Forget it. Visits to the post office were always the worst here, and the residents of the area lamented any necessary trips to the service counter. A lot of mail seemed to go missing in this district, and it was not recovered until after the apocalypse happened.
Post-apocalypse, raiders emptied the place in search of any useful goods that may have been traveling through the USPS at the time. They didn't find much (nobody was really preparing for an apocalypse here), but they did locate a room filled with opened envelopes, some of which had definitely held checks at one point. A rudimentary courier service operates out of this building - one individual, whose identity is unknown to most, delivers messages and items around the area... for a cost.

Mysterious Courier? It is assumed he lives here, but maybe just comes and goes. Wayfarers who wish to deliver various items come here to do so.
